GAMEPLAY: HOOK, SCALE, FEED, REPEAT

The main loop in Scale the Depths kicks off as your fishing line descends through the water. You need to guide the hook left and right to slam into swimming fish and damage them enough to reel them in. Some creatures are quick or armored, requiring careful steering to make the catch. Once captured, you carry the fish to the scaling station, where the real action begins.

Scaling involves precise mouse drags to strip fish of their shiny scales. Too fast, and you risk damaging your catch. Once cleaned, you feed the fish to strange aquatic customers who pay based on their satisfaction. The deeper you go, the rarer the fish, the better the payout.
