GAMEPLAY: RUN, COLLECT, AND ESCAPE

Every level in Dark Deception begins with one rule: collect every soul shard before escaping. You can check out all core tasks right below:

• Soul Shard Hunt: Navigate complex mazes, collecting glowing shards while tracking enemies using audio cues and limited map awareness.
• Monster Pursuit: Face unique nightmare creatures whose behaviors force constant adaptation, turning familiar corridors into unpredictable death traps.
• Power Usage: Activate supernatural abilities like speed, teleportation, and telepathy to escape ambushes or bypass blocked pathways.
• Environmental Hazards: Avoid traps, blades, and slowing terrain that punish poor movement and disrupt carefully planned escape routes.
• Frenzy Phase: Trigger an aggressive endgame chase where monsters intensify, and Malak may personally enter the maze.

Victory in Dark Deception comes only after surviving the frenzy and returning the ring piece to the portal. One mistake during the escape can erase minutes of perfect routing.
